Building What Up From The Amygdala

Two years ago, on this date, Dredd Blog posted "Fighting Terrorism For 200 Years", and a year ago, on this date, Dredd Blog posted "Toxic Minds Produce A Toxic World".

Both are about different facets of the same repeating scenario where humans come to the point where they yell "Remember Pearl Harbor", "Geronimo", or "Remember The Alamo", then proceed with reckless abandon, consumed by a mixture of emotion and will, to produce this or that killing field, justified by a sensation that true justice has ballooned up from the amygdala, out to the maximum popping point, then quickly into the expanding balloon world.

Not many will deny that is exactly what happened on 9/11, however, like screenwriters, directors, producers, and stars struggling over movie script issues such as how, what, when, who, and why, there are always many variations of the script along the way.

One variation on the theme and script of 9/11 comes from a person whose relative was murdered on 9/11, and who has the form of sincerity which seems to balloon up from that type of adversity:
This means WTC6 was bombed well before my cousin was murdered in the explosion used to bring down the South Tower, who unfortunately worked for another Bush cousin that happened to move their corporate meeting the night prior to the hotel across the street where he was staying ... just has me thinking.
(Redacted News, One opposing script). This raises questions about the sequence in which the buildings fell, which goes along with the FBI's anthrax diagnosis, Curve Ball's lies, and Mohammed's Dick Cheney Eyes.

He builds a picture from various video shots, photographs, and other data from that day, to reveal or show that Building 7 (not hit by any aircraft) was damaged before the two towers came down.

Another variation on the theme is that Building 7 (not hit by any aircraft) fell way after The Two Towers (Building 1 & 2) came down.

To deal with the before, during, and after conundrum, the official 9/11 script writers, stars, directors, camera crew, and media, who are so officially bothered about all this, have started a new TV Channel called "Crickets 101".

Meanwhile, Building What? is a new movement that has formed within the group composed in substantial part of those who lost loved ones in that catastrophe a decade ago.

To clear it all up, Homeland Security has a whopper of a budget proposal for a new movie on the cricket channel called "Crickets Forever", which will explain how the cavemen did it to the most sophisticated defense apparatus on earth.

Viva Wisconsin

It was not long ago that Dredd Blog posted Viva Egypt, not thinking in the slightest that the same thing could happen in the USA.

But, just like what happened in Texas (when Tom Delay, before he was found guilty of felonies there, persecuted the democrats there for doing what the Wisconsin folk are doing) actually is happening in the USA, in Wisconsin:
Things are moving very rapidly in Wisconsin right now, and the latest is that State Senate Democrats are refusing to show up at the state capitol to prevent the measure to strip public employees of their bargaining rights from moving forward. There are unconfirmed reports that law enforcement is trying to round up these Dems and even that some of them may have left the state.

Adding to the bizarre sense of urgency, a Dem State Senate aide I just spoke to who is actually in the capitol told me that Dems who are on the scene don't know where the other Dem Senators are, because they appear to be in hiding from law enforcement.

"They are somewhere where they are not available to be forcibly taken to the floor," the aide said, the chant of protestors audible in the background. "They could be in the building. They could be in the basement for all I know."
(Washington Post). They mentioned the Texas episode at the bottom of the article.

This is a good thing, and we need much, much more of it.

Global Wierding: Mirror Of Mental Wierding

There is only one book that is more mysterious than "Known Unknowns", written by Known K. Knowns (a.k.a. "KKK"), Rummy's Stepfather in Chief, once called The Ancient of Daze.

That book is the accounting book detailing where the money went for "the greatest infrastructure bill in United States History", passed less than a Senate ago.

Even Rummy's Uncle Dick could not fathom it, so when Dredd Blog asked askance about the mystery, only crickets could be heard in reply.

Both of these books seem to be books not yet deciphered by the world's decoding experts, or perhaps it is simply that "the books" were Texas Textbooks seasonally doomed to the lotto recycle bin.

I ask because today on Morning Java they were all talking about our degenerating infrastructure, which appears to be a codeword for "earmarks".

Especially since "global wierding" (a.k.a., by the wayback hominids, "the greatest hoax ever fostered on the American Public") is having its way with our infrastructure, and not only that, it is having its way with the infrastructure of many nations:
Insurers will take note, as will those developing policies for adapting to climate change. "This has immense importance not just as a further justification for emissions reduction, but also for adaptation planning," says Michael Oppenheimer, a climate-policy researcher at Princeton University in New Jersey, who was not involved in the studies.

There is no doubt that humans are altering the climate, but the implications for regional weather are less clear. No computer simulation can conclusively attribute a given snowstorm or flood to global warming. But with a combination of climate models, weather observations and a good dose of probability theory, scientists may be able to determine how climate warming changes the odds. An earlier study, for example, found that global warming has at least doubled the likelihood of extreme events such as the 2003 European heatwave.
(The Journal Nature). Regular readers of Dredd Blog know that we have always understood that mental wierding must precede global wierding, not the other way around.

In a sense global wierding feeds on mental wierding (Dredd Blog calls it the "egoecocycle"), and vice versa, so the bleep goes on doncha know.

Thus, we can conclude that we have passed both the peak of good weather, and the peak of sanity.

They are talking about helping the situation by building a speed train in the W direction which begins and ends in Bubble On The Great.
Huffington Post has an interesting post about infrastructure spending ... spent on the infrastructure of foreign nations rather than the USA.

The Chamber of Corruption - 4

"Joshua Rocks" - oil on canvas
In The Chamber of Corruption series that began about a year ago, Dredd Blog pointed out how rancid a once helpful organization had/has become.

Banker Jekyll Will Hyde Your Money, which began about a year and a half ago, is another series where we look into the psychosis of the plunder barons who are too big to jail.

As it turns out, these two ghoulish entities have now been joined together by the national amygdala.

Fusion of shadows of the past into a rock of impotent incompetence is depicted by blogger Randy's painting shown in this post.

The new entity, Jekyll-Hyde, is now festering beyond the pale into an attack dog enterprise dedicated to destroying the last vestiges of truth telling efforts, efforts we have traditionally called "journalism" or "the free press".

Their modus operandi is to use slander in order to deceive the public with an orgasm of putrid propaganda practices which once upon a time would have made even them blush in shame.

The downward spiral we spoke of yesterday as a category five tornado of demise is represented full on by this alegory, this microcosm, this corrupt model, which all spawns from the DNA of MOMCOM.

This vortex of intellectual bankruptcy in the U.S.A. is now being, and will continue to be, exposed for what it is.

The story was broken by a hack into the emails of these establishment mobsters by Anonymous, as Glenn Greenwald explains:
As I noted on Friday, the parties implicated in the smear campaigns aimed at WikiLeaks supporters and Chamber of Commerce critics have attempted to heap all the blame on HBGary Federal ("HBGary") and its CEO, Aaron Barr. Both Bank of America and the Chamber -- the intended clients -- vehemently deny any involvement in these schemes and have harshly denounced them. The other two Internet security firms whose logos appeared on the proposals -- Palantir Technologies and Berico Technologies -- both issued statements terminating their relationship with HBGary and insisting that they had nothing to do with these plots. Only Hunton & Williams and its partner, John Woods -- the central cogs soliciting these proposals -- have steadfastly refused to comment.
(Smearly Leeks). The foreign government driven ideology of King Mohammed impels The Chamber of Corruption to attack even the families of journalists who dare to expose their corruption.

It is the kinky kingly thang to do these daze.

The next post in this series is here, the previous post in this series is here.

The Daze of Yore

On this date two years ago Dredd Blog posted Investigative Word-Factory Daze. Reading it today I somehow get the impression that our culture can't shake some of our addictions:
A while back we had a thread about the US losing guns, roses, bombs, money, computers, and who knows what else.

Now daze we seem to be blossoming into investigations.

Investigations about losing money, sense of justice, sense of who we are, and on and on. There are gonna be a lot of books and reports. Lotsa southern comfort.

That is what investigations are designed to do. Deceive the public into thinking the government will handle it.

The government hasn't yet received the memo that since Katrina in the post Bush II world the investigative word game factory is less popular than the chastity belt.

The public knows we have lost our virginity already. Knows we have been screwed badly for years.

The public would like to see some real results, like crooks and liars in jail. Enough of this "where does it hurt" BS.

These investigative word factories are just polluting the air waves with toxic pablum we don't need or want.

A year ago we celebrated a first for the United States, which was a race through the Garbage Gyre to claim the trophy:
Not since 1995 has the venerable America's Cup been won by the United States.

That changed Sunday when a software mogul who runs Oracle did the deed and won the cup for the U.S.A.

We are also winning, so far, the most medals in the winter Olympics in Vancouver.

Awesome!

A side story, unfortunately, is that our America's Cup competitors had to sail through one of The Five Garbage Gyres, those floating continents of garbage now contaminating the oceans of the earth.

We had reported on the first and second gyres, but now we find that there are five of these garbage continents floating out there.

Add to that the Italian Mafia's dumping of large quantities of nuclear poison into the oceans, and it seems like we sail over the oceans as we bring them down.

Are we dangerously fooling around while our Home World dies?

Somehow this two-year review reminds me of back to the future.

The currently off course political discourse and practice is contrary to the nation's historical character, indicating a rut, an addiction, a daze which continually spirals downward in ever narrowing circles.

It is the picture of a category five tornado of decline if you will:
Aiming to cut the annual deficit by more than $1 trillion over the next decade, President Barack Obama chose to slash across the board. But the most glaring cuts were not to a bloated defense budget, or to entitlement programs that both parties say are in need of reform. Rather, they were to programs and policies that are at the heart of Obama's personal story.

A former community organizer in Chicago, Obama proposed a 50-percent cut to a $700-million community-service block grant program. A former lawyer who touted his work to improve living conditions for the poor, Obama proposed a sharp cut in energy assistance for low-income families. A graduate-school alumnus who only recently, and quite publicly, was able to pay off his debts, Obama proposed refiguring loan programs so that students would accrue interest even while they're enrolled.
(Against No Odds, emphasis added). The hubris is breathtaking, if not mystical, giving us the glaring image of a flip flop on steroids, induced no doubt by the growing influence of the toxins of power.

It was not too far back when we diagnosed this pathology.

Sergeant Pepper Taught The Band To Play

"It was 20 yrs. ago today, that Sgt. Pepper taught the band to play" ... well ... A year ago on this date Dredd Blog posted:
The main stream media (MSM) has been used unwittingly to distort the term "conspiracy theory" from the real meaning it has, and should have.

It has been perverted into an unreal, frivolous meaning they use in place of investigative journalism.

Can you imagine a U.S. Department of Justice attorney general going into a courtroom saying the defendant is charged with a "conspiracy theory", causing the court to snicker or giggle like an MSM journalist does when that term is mentioned?

Do you think that ever happens in court? No, because conspiracy theories are as serious as a heart attack to any professional DOJ attorney:
The concept of criminal conspiracy has its earliest roots in fourteenth century English common law. At that time, it saw limited use as a legal theory. It became more broadly applied in the United States in the nineteenth century, though still the scope of prosecutions was not wide. Today, however, conspiracy is a far-reaching legal principle, embracing antitrust actions, an enormous number of more traditional criminal cases, and even tort lawsuits. It is the basis of prosecutions dealing with, among other crimes, drug violations, securities fraud, murder for hire, bank robbery, and extortion.

... Conspiracy is an agreement by two or more people to commit a crime.
(Conspiracy Theory, Law). Congress passed a statute long ago that is used frequently in the federal courts:
If two or more persons conspire either to commit any offense against the United States, or to defraud the United States, or any agency thereof in any manner or for any purpose, and one or more of such persons do any act to effect the object of the conspiracy, each shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.

If, however, the offense, the commission of which is the object of the conspiracy, is a misdemeanor only, the punishment for such conspiracy shall not exceed the maximum punishment provided for such misdemeanor.
(18 U.S.C. § 371, emphasis added). Conspiracy theories are a joke only to the jokers in the MSM propaganda organs.

Conspiracy theories are what an attorney general comes up with when s/he wants to put someone in prison because that person conspired with others to commit a crime.

It is not fantasy, it is real, and it happens each and every day.

The MSM la la land is where the fantasy comes from.

If the establishment obsession with banning conspiracy theories becomes real, in the form of censure or worse, will they ban the conspiracy theory portion of our federal law?

The conspiracy theory law that has been around for centuries to make society safer?

Two years ago on this date Dredd Blog posted:
We brought up the evolution of intelligence and artificial intelligence a while back.

Last night's Battlestar Galactica exposed some of the history of the machine mutations, evolution if you will, which converts Cylons from the realm of machine toward the realm of humanity.

And they call it science fiction. Which is very strange, because the foundation of biological evolution, by necessity, is cosmology. First comes the universe of planets, stars, galaxies, then after that biological life forms.

Cosmology is an attempt to explain the foundational prerequisites for the transformation from machine entities to biological entities. The Big Bang theory is, in essence, about an event originally involving machine entities.

In the cosmology movie the expanding and cooling gas cloud led to atoms. A gas cloud of hydrogen is a cloud of machines. An atom is a machine. An element is a machine composed of multiple atomic particles. Atomic elements like protons, neutrons, and electrons led to atoms which led to elements which led to stars and planets. Bigger machines.

Looking at it that way, the machines are at the foundation of biological organisms aren't they? We are in a sense cyborg, then, because we are both machine and organic.

We are composed of atoms and elements which are organized in such a way that they morph into organisms. Organization.

So goes the cosmological theory of machines mutating into "higher forms". Atomic quanta which are composed of non-organic mass and non-organic energy, and therefore are machines, morph or evolve into other machines we call atoms and elements. Then those elements morph into molecules which morph or evolve into organic, biological life forms.

What is puzzling in many ways is that this is called both science fiction and evolutionary science. What makes it fiction on the one hand, but science on the other hand, on the same set of facts? By facts I mean machines morphing or evolving into biological organisms.

Is it the Hollywood movie aspect of Cylons that makes it science fiction, or is it fiction when the forum is outer space? And only on earth it is science?

That is what Battlestar Galactica is all about. Cylons becoming more and more human-like to the point they become gender based entities, they mate, and they thereby reproduce.

What is up with calling it fiction? Or science? Just because it is a movie? Hey, it is the science of Cylon evolution dudes and dudettes.
In the here and now it is MOMCOM business as usual, as Obama keeps up the attack on the poor and middle class who elected him, yes, as the propaganda robots press on.

Soupy Sales And Evolutionary Tales - 2

Once upon a time Dredd Blog did a post "Soupy Sales And Evolutionary Tales", which is part of or akin to the 'weekend rebel science' and the 'buy textbook company stock' types of series.

Those types of posts tend to point out how difficult it is sometimes for textbook companies to keep up with scientific discovery, which moves just a little slower than political book companies cranking out books explaining how this or that politician now knows everything.

Writing a book is now part and parcel of presidential electioneering, just as much or more than the requirement that academics write books to stay in the cool loop.

Since we have demonstrated that MOMCOM is in, around, over, and next to us, lets think about MOMCOM science again, in terms of why our science is brain-dead.

The formula on the deck of the carrier in the photo above is E = mc², which Dredd Blog interprets to mean: Exceptionalism = MOMCOM Squared.

Lately these "rocket scientists", especially within the climate change denier meme complex, have proven that jelly brains do not need structure, possibly indicating that they did in fact evolve from bubbles along with some of the others.

Meanwhile, less religious scientists have been working on an analysis which will cause the demise of a truckload of textbooks, following a shockingly interesting new discovery:
Every cubic meter of air holds up to 100 million microorganisms, but the diversity and behavior of these microbes remains masked to microbiologists — until recently, that is ... microbes also help create the intricately beautiful designs in snowflakes and facilitate the formation of clouds ... Recent research published in PNAS suggests that the diversity of microbial life in the air is on par with the soil, at least in urban areas, yet the air remains vastly understudied in comparison.
(Atlas of The Atmosphere). The deniers still think the Sun has more to do with global warming than human activity does, probably because the Sun is "obviously quite warm".

The reality of Life According To Science supports their theory, however, that part of their rap won't happen until long after we who are here now are long gone.

Kinda like the dude who wrote Known Unknowns.
